The Tribune writes "Birth of another battle: Cabinet berths", who to include, how many from each party - huge task for JD(S) and Congress.
Killing of seven policemen in Maoists attack in Dantewada district of South Chhattisgarh has been prominently covered in the front pages of almost all dailies.  The Asian Age writes "Seven Chhattisgarh jawans killed as Maoists blast police van". The Hindu headlines "Seven policemen killed as Maoists blow up their SUV".
"Pakistan reels as India hits back" headlines the Pioneer. Begging for their lives, the Pakistan Rangers on Sunday made frantic calls to local BSF formations in Jammu to stop use of their punitive lethal fire power, as it was causing huge damages on their side.
The Times of India reports that the PMO wants a major change in the policy related to allocation of Services and Cadre for 1,000 odd candidates selected each year in the All India Civil Services Examination. And finally, The Times of India informs us "Octopuses are Aliens". A team of 33 researches have made this claim as the genetics of Octopuses is 'mysterious'. The authors of the paper hypothesize that perhaps fertilised Octopus eggs were first delivered to earth by a meteor.
