The Prime Minister has exhorted his fellow citizen to use less cash to embrace digital transactions, so that the full year target of 2,500 crore transactions could be reached in half that time.

The Indian Express writes "Jaitley counters critique - says" Yes we are making Aadhar Mandatory", while the DNA quotes the Finance Minister as saying that aadhar can check tax evasion and its biometric details minimise the chances of its misuse.
