The Times of India headlines, "In Delhi, private hospitals may offer Modicare", the daily writes about a move by the centre planning to directly empanel Delhi based private hospitals under Ayushman Bharat, which have been out of the purview of the scheme as Delhi government has not signed the initiative, benefitting patients from neighboring states but not Delhi residents.

The papers keenly track the bitter political fight arising on the second anniversary of demonetisation. "Govt, Congress make a demon out of each  other on DeMo anniversary" headlines the Economic Times. The paper writes "FM Jaitley says bold move formalised economy; ex-PM Singh says India yet to recover from its ill effects".
The Hindu reports that an established network continues counterfeiting notes post demonetisation. The paper says 'what is more alarming is that the criminals have replicated 10 of the 17 security features in 2000 rupee notes'.
