"Kashmir on edge after 10 die in gunfight, clashes" notices the Hindu.  "Professor among five militants killed in Valley, five civilians die in protests" writes the Indian Express.
"Pakistani Interior Minister survives assassination bid" reports the Hindu.
"Don't need CBI probe, if not police, who to trust", the Indian Express quotes J&K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, on the Kathua rape and murder case.
Concerned over key infrastructure projects getting delayed, "Modi tells Secretaries: If projects stuck, act on your own; 'Don't wait for me to intervene' " notices the Asian Age.
"Survivors may get to report child sex abuse till age 25" the Hindustan Times states, of the Union Women and Child Development Ministry seeking a 7-year time limit after such persons turn 18, to report such offences.
