International Yoga Day being celebrated all over the globe is the lead in most papers today. ‘From Argentina to Australia, gurus take flight for Yoga Day’ is the Times of India headline. ‘Government set to stretch, from Rajpath to Times Square’ writes the Indian Express. ‘World yoga capital set for the big day; says the Hindu, referring to celebrations on the banks of Ganga in Rishikesh. An article titled ‘In search of peace’ in the Tribune, says that a 24/7 connect with everyone and everything but yourself is detrimental, referring to benefits of yoga and meditation.

The Lalit Modi saga continues to figure in many dailies. “Lalit Modi e-mail dirt sent to government in February, law ministry forwarded to CJI last month” states the Indian Express. “Congress to target PM for his silence on charges against party colleagues” is the Hindu headline.

The Hindustan Times reports that the Enforcement Directorate is all set to press money laundering and tax evasion charges against Dushyant Singh, Vasundhara Raje’s son.

Technology comes in handy, both for good and bad. “Eat,pray,fast with Ramzaan phone apps” says the Times of India, of an app which helps keep track of Sehri and iftar timings.

In a move to digitise land records, birth and death certificates, marksheets and other such utilities PM Modi set ot launch digitise India Project on July 1, headlines the Financial Express on Sunday, on its front page.

The Government plans to popularise cashless transactions. Debit Card holders can expect to  use them at more places and without any extra cost, reports the Times of India.
