Indian Scientists break dengue Code

Almost all papers have carried the story on huge rally of 684 points by the Sensex on their front pages. The Economics Times carries it under the headline "Band, Baja, Bernanke! From DC to D-Street, a drumbeat of cheer"!

According to the Indian Express the government is said to have decided to give constitutional status to the Chief Justice of India as the head of the proposed Judicial Appointment Commission, which will appoint judges to the higher judiciary.

The Indian Express reports that misusing secret service funds to destabilise the Omar Abdullah government in Jammu and Kashmir, to pay off an NGO to try change the line of succession in the Army top brass, a string of alleged irregularities by the Technical Services Division, TSD, a controversial Military Intelligence, MI unit set up by former Army Chief General V K Singh in May 2010, should come under the scanner of an external agency like the CBI.

According to the Times of India government has proposed standards for play schools that include the size of the classroom and out door space, mandatory use of mother tongue or Vernacular language as a medium of instruction and caregiver ratio.

The Mail Today under the headline "Indian Scientists break dengue Code" writes that the Scientists have developed a non-infectious dengue vaccine from yeast.
