PM Narendra Modi Condemning mob attacks on cattle traders is a prominent headline across papers today. "Modi to Vigilantes : No killing in cow's name" writes the Hindustan Times adding "PM Breaks silence; says lynchings unacceptable in Mahatama's country," while the Tribune headlines" 'Gaubhakhti' killing not acceptable says PM".
"On GST eve, govt. tells India Inc not to hike prices - Finance Minister meets industry bigwigs; officials on stand by," reports the Business Standard.
Most papers today have noticed the interest shown by low cost carrier Indigo in making a bid for acquiring the loss making Air India.
In an interesting nugget the Pioneer notes that the RBI has started Printing 200 rupees note.
 Under the headline "China refers to 1962, says 'learn lessons'," The Tribune writes that Beijing has hardened its stance on the stand off with Indian Troops with its foreign Ministry asking India to withdraw its troops from the Donglong area in Sikkim as a precondition for 'meaningful dialog'. In a related headline, the Pioneer writes "China warns; invokes Himalayan Blunder".
The Indian Express highlights that the CBSE has allowed class 10th students to keep the vocational subject as a sixth subject. In case a students fails in one subject the marks of the vocational subject will be added to calculate the percentage.
And finally, the Hindu says "Horn? not ok Please!." the papers writes that in Maharashtra, adding to noise pollution on the road will soon cost 2000 rupees.
