NEWSPAPERS HEADLINES:

    The brutal highway horror in Bulandshahar is the top story in most of the newspapers this morning. “UP cops given 24 hours to nab rapists of Bulandshahar” leads Hindustan Times. “3 of 20 suspects held, SSP, SP suspended says the Pioneer.
    Most of the newspapers this morning carry pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagging off “Run for Rio” at the Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi on their front pages.
    Referring to the Indian workers laid off in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait Hindustan Times writes “India may airlift 10,000 workers stuck in Saudi”. “Retrenched Indians to come back home” says the Hindu.
    Writing on Una case the Tribune says “Gujarat Dalits won’t lift carcasses, want fire arms”. “Una protester succumbs, stokes Dalits’ agitation states the Pioneer. The paper writes that the Dalit leaders are to hold the Padyatra from Ahmedabad to Una from August 5th to 15th.
    “Body to look into complaints against judges of Supreme Court, all High Courts?” headlines the Times of India, adding “Government readies plan despite Chief Justice of India’s opposition”.
    On the Prime Minister’s Man-ki-Baat on All India Radio the Asian Age writes “Modi advice : Use more tech to solve problems.
    The Pioneer in its bottom spread carries a heart warming story of how Safdarjung hospital in Delhi with the help of an NGO is gifting toddlers their voice. The hospital is conducting cochlear implant surgery absolutely free for underprivileged patients.
    And finally,The Tribune reports that a 42 year old US skydiver Luke Aikins  with more than 18,000 jumps made history when he became the first person to leap without a parachute after a 2 minute free fall from a height of 25,000 feet.
