Reporting on the House Deadlock, the Indian Express writes "Battle lines harden as Rahul Raises Pitch; says Sushma's act criminal" adding " Congress leads opposition boycott of all party meet : PM tells MP's, world watching".

In a related story, the Times of India writes that Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaches out to the opposition in Rajay Sabha as he walks upto Manmohan Singh and Gulam Nabi Azad and Shook hands with them.

The Pioneer writes in a high profile case involving top guns of politics and media who have demanded scrapping of criminal defamation in the Indian Penal Code, the Centre on Thursday told the Supreme Court that Granting this prayer will lead to "anarchy" and "chaos" in the country.
