Two days ahead of visit, Chinese daily attacks Modi, India" on the border dispute, is a front page spotlight in the Hindustan Times.

The paper also reports, "Will stop land bill in Parliament or on streets, Rahul warns government". The Asian Age states "NDA allies join Congress in raising land bill doubts."

"Jaya case : did the judge get the math wrong?" asks the Business Line. The Hindu quotes Special Public Prosecutor, B.V Acharya as saying "Error led to acquittal of Jayalalithaa".

The Business Standard reports " Stocks tumble as rupee falls to 20 month low". The Economic Times comments "Market squall refuses to blow away, Battered sensex loses 630 points".

And finally, The Times of India reports of a brave Rajasthan teenager rejecting marriage conducted by her parents when she was just 11 months old. Standing up to patriarchy, she is now set to move court to annul the marriage.
