Anna Hazare writes to Narendra Modi, threatens stir over black money

Two days after exit polls predicted that the BJP would become the largest party in Maharashtra, and with the assembly election results out Sunday, Pankaja Munde, the daughter of the man who was once the party's face in the state Gopinath Munde, has staked her claim for the Chief Minister's post, reports The Indian Express.
Shiv Sena on Friday hinted at a possible reconciliation with former ally BJP, saying there should be “no bitterness any more". An editorial in Sena mouthpiece Saamna said, “There is no need to have arguments or bitterness any more... Though it is difficult to mend broken hearts, Maharashtra needs stability and peace, reports The Times of India.
 Most newspapers have noticed the story of granting of bail by the Supreme Court to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha. Hindustan Times says the AIADMK chief is likely to walk out of jail today after the Supreme Court granted her bail in a corruption case and suspended her sentence for two months, sparking celebrations by supporters.

In a rare directive, the Prime Minister's Office has referred a case of alleged irregularities in purchases of high-altitude tents by Special Frontier Force, a unit of Research & Analysis Wing, to the Central Bureau of Investigation, writes The Indian Express.
