The Baduan rape case in UP continues to dominate the news paper headlines. In a new twist to the case, the Times of India reports that the state DGP has suggested that the killing might have been triggered by property dispute and family honour. In a related report, the Hindustan Times reports "Badaun horror stalks Delhi too" and says that 184 children were raped last year as most of them had no access to a functioning or safe public toilet.

In an exclusive interview with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi who begins his official visit to New Delhi today, the Hindu reports with the headline "More consensus than differences with India, says Chinese Minister", while the Asian Age cautions that a classified Intelligence Bureau report "sees big China Army surge in PoK".

In a front page story the Pioneer reports "Peeved by Sharif's visit, ultras step up J&K trouble" adding that intelligence agencies have reported increase in radio traffic between terrorists and their handlers in PoK sectors facing Kupwara.

On the eve of his swearing-in as the first Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh,The Hindu carries an interview with Chandrababu Naidu and reports him as saying "We have to built from scratch: Naidu".

The Sunday Pioneer reports "Government takes first step to tackle inflation", adding that "A meeting of committee of secretaries mulls changes in Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee Act to curb price; combat black marketing, hoarding". In a related report, The Hindu reports "We need to lower business costs to boost growth, says Jaitley".

The continuing heatwave in Delhi also finds mention in the news papers "Outages across city as rising temperature trips system" reports the Times of India, while the Hindustan Times adds "As mercury soars, Delhi gets the blackout blues".

And finally, the Times of India in a report titled "New work assignment: Go on a vacation" says companies across diverse industries and sizes are recognising that employees who enjoyed their annual leave are happier and more productive.
