The Hindu reports of the Army successfully testing Akash, the surface to air missile ,developed by DRDO, from Chandipur, Odisha. The AKASH weapon system is an all weather,air defence system and the Missile can target a 'helicopter or a cruise missile 15 kms away', reports the paper.
