Mail Today says, "US backed off from trade deal". "Trump to raise issue of trade barriers by India" reports Hindustan Times.  The Indian Express writes,"Trump will raise issue of religious freedom with Modi: US official".

"PM Modi a genius who thinks globally, acts locally: SC judge" reports The Statesman, quoting Justice Arun Mishra who was speaking at the International Judicial Conference.

The euphoria of the claim of gold reserves worth Rs 12 trillion could not last even 24 hours with the Geological Survey of India refuting the claim."3000-tonne gold reserves claim gets reality check", says Business Standard.

And finally, "Thousands of Japanese (are) making a smooth transition from Zen to Jain", reports The Times of India. The popularity of Jainism is spreading in Osaka and Tokyo, adds the paper.
