TRS Scores an Emphatic Win in Telangana Municipal Elections, Congress a Distant Second

NEWSPAPER HEADLINES

    Most newspapers today, focus their headlines on the deadly new coronavirus, titled 2019-nCoV (novel coronavirus).

    Marking cautions being taken in India, The Hindustan times headline reads "Virus footprint grows; 11 isolated across India".
    The Pioneer headlines it as "China virus puts India on ". While Times of India reports "China 'shuts' 10 cities; 12 quarantined in India".

    On the forthcoming Delhi assembly elections, the Hindustan Times headline reads "Shah, Kejriwal slug it out on schools, Wi-Fi, CCTV's". adding further Amit Shah said "Delhi government fooled people" and in response the CM says "Our work is for all to see".

    On the forthcoming budget The Hindu business line quoting former RBI governer C.Rangarajan says "8-9 per cent GDP growth is key to achieving 5 trillion dollor economy".

    And finally the latest edition of the Oxford advanced learner dictionary featuers 26 new Indian English words, The Asian Age story headlines it "Aadhaar, dabba, shaadi enter Oxford lexicon."
