NEWSPAPERS HEADLINES:

The conviction of RJD leader Lalu Prasad in the fodder scam case, dominates the headlines of major news dailies today.  "Fodder leads Lalu in Jail", headlines the DNA.  The Sunday Pioneer informs in its headline "RJD Chief cries foul, trains guns on "country's 2 top political leaders" for court decision. The Times of India reports "RJD Boss Calls it Conspiracy of Casteist minds".
Many newspapers have also reported on the killing of soldiers in firing at the LoC. "Major, 3 jawans killed in Rajouri LoC attack - Ambush by Pakistani troops suspected" reports The Sunday Tribune. The newspaper adds that the bodies of the martyred soldiers were mutilated.
The report of a bus tragedy in Rajasthan has also been prominently covered along with photographs of the tragic accident.  "33 dead as bus driven by "minor" plunges 100 ft. into river in Rajasthan" reports The Times of India.
The Mail Today in its lead page story informs "Railways gets third eye to beat dense fog - device uses infra-red and laser rays to detect object on tracks upto two kilometres, lets trains run at over 100 kilometres without safety compromise."
The Asian Age speculates in its headline "BJP may name dark horse as Himachal CM."
Today's newspapers also have more revelations on the Godman from Rohini. "33 women found in dungeons at Rohini Baba's UP Ashram" reports The Times of India, while the Pioneer adds "Rapist Baba Dikshit runs 200 Rohini-like assault centres" - in five states.
The Indian Express reports that the Indian Institutes of Advanced Technology IITs have shot down the governments proposal to permit the National Testing Agency to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced).
Finally, The Hindustan Times in a story titled "Between a Rock and Hard place: Band changes prisoner's life in Tihar" reports that an 8-member inhouse band at Tihar Jail is all set for a rocking time with music.
