India Rejects Apple's Plan to Import Used iPhones

    The latest on the Uttarakhand situation finds top mention in most of the dailies this morning. Hindustan Times quotes the Supreme Court telling the Centre as "consider a floor test in Uttarakhand under our watch."
    On the Uttarakhand forest fires the Hindu writes "Showers help in fighting Uttarakhand forest fires". "National Green Tribunal notices to Uttarakhand and Himachal" states The Asian Age.
    The 63rd National Film Awards function is also covered prominently with reports and photographs in all the news papers this morning.
    Writing on the review of the Pathankot terror attacks by a Parliamentary panel, Hindustan Times writes "House panel finds security readiness 'seriously' flawed". The paper writes "Parliamentary committee wants to know why probe team from Pakistan was allowed into airbase".
    On the Panama papers leak the Indian Express leads "Bengaluru to Bhavnagar many moved offshore before RBI relaxed forex limits", adding "Offshore account holders claimed NRI status, bought entities from Mossack Foneseca for a few dollars".
    The Financial Express reports that the International Monetary Fund has retained its growth forecast for India this year at 7.5 per cent, largely driven by private consumption.
    And finally, in some encouraging news, the Times of India reports that Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya kids of New Delhi recorded 95 per cent success rate in JEE (Main) compared to the national average of 16.7 percent.
