Most newspapers this morning headline the unrest in Pakistan as the Tehreek-e-insaf continues to push for the ouster of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. "Army wants political solution as violence escalates in Pakistan" writes the Hindu.

The other major story covered is the 2+2 dialouge between Japan and India during Prime Minster Modi's visit to Japan. "Modi Abe talks today" writes the Pioneer.

7% central DA like for staff and pensioners writes the Asian Age. The government is likely to approve a hike in dearness allowance to 7% from July 1st this year as per the revised consumer price index industrial workers data for June released by the Labour Ministry adds the Tribune and Asian Age.

The Danik Jagran and Pioneer write, that the Union government is seriously considering setting up of a data bank of talented young lawyers to be considered for appointment as Judges. The Union Minister also announced that the government has in principal approved a 25% increase in the number of High Court Judges.

And finally, the Indian Express and the Asian Age, writes about an astonishing new heart failure drug developed by the Swiss pharma Giant Novratis.
