 Farmers' protest: Delhi Police issues notice to 20 farmer leaders including Yogendra Yadav

All newspapers have widely covered the FIRs booked against the farm leaders.  The Times of India headlines "Day after capital raid, authorities and protesters take stock and plan next moves," "Farmers put off  1st February parliament march; No rioter will be spared, says top cop." The Pioneer reports, "2 farm unions end protest, condemn R-day violence."


In some more relaxations of restrictions in view of Covid, The Hindu writes, "Cinemas allowed to seat more people." "50 per cent cap for movie halls lifted, pools open to all," says The Times of India adding that International travel may be eased further.


Papers have also noticed V K Sasikala's release from prison. The Statesman reports, "Ex-Jayalalitha aide Sasikala released after 4 years in prison."
