The announcement of dates for the forthcoming elections in Bihar by the Election Commission, dominates the headlines of most newspaper today. "EC sets stage for India's 1st COVID-era elections in Bihar", reports the Hindustan Times. The Indian Express informs "Online nominations and masks: 3-phase voting in Bihar's COVID election".


The protests against the farm bills have also been covered prominently by the newspapers. "Protest against farm law rages on ", reports The Pioneer. The Times of India writes on its front page "Farmers, workers to benefit for 1st Time in years from new laws: PM".


The Economic Times reports on it's front page  "Vodafone wins Rupees 20 thousand crore Tax Arbitration against Government", The Business Standard adds "Government says it will consider all options, including legal remedies".


In its lead page story The Indian Express informs "China, Pakistan in mind, PM to spell out India priorities at UN General Assembly today".


And finally, Glowing tributes have been paid to noted singer S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, who passed away yesterday due to COVID. "A soothing voice falls silent", mourns The Hindu in its headline. The Times Of India says "S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, golden voice over generations, falls silent".
