BJP National president Amit Shah filling his nomination papers for the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency finds prominent mention on the front pages of the dailies this morning. "As Shah enters race, NDA shows strength" is the Hindustan Times lead. The paper adds "Shiv Sena, Akali Dal, LJP leaders turn up to underscore support for BJP".

Referring to PM Modi's campaigning in Arunachal and Assam the Asian Age writes "Modi says Congress can't stomach India's progress". The Hindu quoting the PM says "Congress resents everything we are proud of".

"Congress mulls carving 4 states out of UP. Proposal to figure in Lok Sabha poll manifesto" informs the Asian Age.

"Samajwadi Party fields Nishad form Gorakhpur after Nishad party exits" says the Pioneer adding "SP announces 2 more candidates; Nishad Party in talks with BJP".

On Arun Jaitley's blog on Article 35A, the Indian Express quotes former J&K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti as saying "Erode Article 370, rethink J&K link to Union".

The Hindustan Times quoting the Enforcement Directorate (ED) writes "Clues by lobbyist point to UPA ministers."

"Court frames charges in Muzaffarpur shelter home case" inform the Hindu.

Recognising Intelligence ! Well, the Hindustan Times writes that for the first time in 132 years of its existence, the Intelligence Bureau, is recognising its officers and those in the state intelligence wings for exceptional performance with a medal of its own.
