AN OVERVIEW OF TODAY'S NEWSPAPERS:-
Being the day after Holi, there are no newspapers today but here's a review of the online editions of various papers.

All papers have prominently covered BJP's first list of candidates for the Lok Sabha polls. The Hindustan Times says, " BJP first list out, PM to contest from Varanasi. Amit Shah from Gandhinagar." The Hindu reports, "Modi gets Varanasi again. Shah replaces Advani in Gandhinagar".

Papers have also covered the follow up to Nirav Modi's arrest in the UK. The Mail Today headline reads, "No Bail, Just Jail for Nirav," adding " 'Jewel Thief' caught, extradition next step."

News papers are splashed with colourful photographs of Holi celebrations in different parts of the country. The Hindu carries a picture of the Rajasthani Kshatriya community celebrating traditional Holi with flowers and colourful umbrellas as their dance props at the Aai Mata temple in Dapodi.

In an epic saga of digital "proportions where the winner keeps changing hands almost every other second, India's T-Series has become the most subscribed You Tube channel in the world.  The Times of India writes, "T-Series is originally the most subscribed YouTube channel in the world".

With more political parties resorting to Social Media as a potent campaigning tool, The Business-Standard writes, "Lok Sabha polls: Over 30,000 political ads on Facebook since February".

With more and more people migrating to bigger cities, The Hindu in an exclusive reveals, "22 Lakh migrated from north Andhra in last decade, says study adding "Lack of agricultural activity cited as major reason".

The Hindu reports of an unusual birth.  A Columbian woman has given birth to a baby whose abdomen contained the tiny, half-formed-but still growing - body of her twin sister. "A twin inside a twin: an extraordinary birth in Columbia".
