 In a front page story in The Asian Age headlined "Red Fort 'adopted' in Rs 25 crore deal, opposition fumes", the newspaper reports that a corporate house has signed an agreement for developing tourist -friendly amenities at the iconic Red fort with the tourism ministry under its "Adopt a Heritage" project. The Supreme Court's judgement in the Special CBI judge B H Loya death case dominates front page headlines. The DNA quotes the apex court as saying "Judge Loya died naturally, no need for an inquiry". On the political slugfest between the BJP and the Congress that followed the judgement the Hindu quotes Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad as saying  "Rahul and Congress owe an apology" and the Congress party describing it as a "Sad letter day". In a possible fallout of the judgement, the Hindustan Times says "Congress, others may move motion on CJI removal".

The State Bank of India's reassurance on the ATM cash crunch is prominently noticed on the front pages of most papers.
