India slams UN report on Kashmir, calls it 'fallacious and motivated', says it's based on 'unverified information'

The killing of 4 BSF personnel in unprovoked firing by Pakistani Rangers along the International border in Jammu and Kashmir is one of the top newspaper story reported today. The Times of India writes "Assistant commandant among 4 BSF men killed in Pak firing". The Indian Express observes "Ceasefire in J&K may not extend beyond Eid".
Reporting on the continuing stand off between the government and the bureaucracy in the national capital, the Hindustan Times leads with "Dharna Politics at play - Delhi administration hits pause.
The Hindu, in its lead, highlights "Downturn in ties with Maldives hits Indians' job oppotunities". The paper reports that advertisements from Maldivian companies that are hiring say - "Indians need not apply" as they would not be given work permits.
And finally, it all starts today, "FIFA set to make 6.1 billion dollars from World Cup" headlines the Business Standard. The Tribune photographs Achilles, the cat, who has predicted the hosts Russia to be the winner in their opening match with Saudi Arabia. We will have to wait and watch if the cat is right!
