"Pakistan stays at centre of Gujarat election battle" leads Hindustan Times. "Apologise for falsehoods and canards, Manmohan tells PM" writes the Times of India. The Asian Age quotes Pakistan as telling India "Don't drag us into your poll debates".
Writing on Senior Advocate Rajeev Dhavan quitting the legal profession The Tribune writes "Citing humiliation, senior advocate quits". "Humiliated Dhavan quits practice in  Supreme Court" says The Asian Age.
Rahul Gandhi being elected Congress President unopposed is the other big story today. "New Congress era begins as Rahul crowned president" states the Asian Age. "Elected unopposed he will formally take over on December 16", informs the Hindu. "Leadership change" is the caption under a beaming photograph of Rahul Gandhi in Financial Express.
