RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat making a strong pitch for building the temple on the disputed site at Ayodhya also gets wide coverage. The Pioneer quotes Bhagwat as saying "Only Ram Mandir at Janmabhoomi". Reporting on the same subject, the Hindustan Times writes "RSS questions Sri Sri's bid to mediate on Ram Mandir issue".
Another headline figuring prominently in the DNA says "4 train accidents in 12 hours, 7 dead". The paper writes that while 3 accidents were reported from UP, one occurred in Odisha.
The Delhi Metro losing over 3 lakh commuters a day since the fares were hiked in October this year also gets prominent coverage across newspapers. The Pioneer, making it the lead, writes "Fare hike no more gravy train for Metro".
The Hindustan Times, in its anchor story, reports "India could get vaccine for dengue by 2019" as the government gives a go-ahead for trials for the vaccine by Technology Development Board and drugmaker Pancea Biotech.

Hindustan Times reports that CBI has charged 592 more people who are accused under the Vyapam Scam. CBI has also provided more details of the modus operandi of the scam, adds the paper.
"Cash woes persist in rural India as ATMs disappear" reports The Hindu Business Line. The paper reports that supply issues have forced shut-down of at least 1000 ATMs in remote areas.
And finally, "Pollution in emergency zone to impose odd-even automatically" is The Pioneer headline. EPCA is planning to devise a system under which measures like odd-even will kick in automatically when air pollution enters 'emergency' zone, says the paper.

Under fire from public and military, Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe resigned from the Country's top post after 37 years reports The Tribune.
"200 and counting" is the Mail Today lead. The paper writes that "Forces kill three Kashmir terrorists in Handwara to take this year's tally to a recent high; 25 commanders among slain jihadis".
Writing on the film S Durga the Hindu quotes the Kerala High Court directing Ministry of Information and Broadcasting "screen S Durga at IFFI". The paper adds that the court allows certified version of the Sanal Sasidharan's film.
Referring to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati DNA reports Union Minister Birender Singh's statement "See it first and then demand cuts, Minister tells 'Padmavati' critics".
"Martyr's widows don't need to marry brother in law for benefits" states The Pioneer. The paper reports that the Defence Ministry has done away with the regressive rule. It has now decided that the widow can marry anyone and will still get all the dues including allowance, till her death.

The BJP releasing its first list of 70 candidates for Gujarat Assembly elections gets widely reported. "17 Patels, 4 women, 5 Cong rebels among 70 named" writes the Asian Age.
"JD-U's 'arrow' symbol alloted to Nitish faction" is another top headline in the Asian Age.
The Hindustan Times, reports, "Multi-state action plan on bad air must kick in, says NGT". The Asian Age, says "BJP to move Supreme Court against AAP govt on green cess".
