"Army Chief: If Pak acts wrongly, strikes are on" reads a headline in The Tribune while under the caption, "Army chief warns Pak of more surgical strikes", Hindustan Times writes that India would carry out more precision strikes on militant bases across the Line of Control if Islamabad rejected New Delhi’s peace overtures.
The Indian Express reports that expressing concern over the prevailing internal security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, the Army chief said the situation there should be reversed to the pre-1989 state “Where all people live in harmony?”.

"I’m still party chief, says Mulayam Singh Yadav" - under this headline, the Asian Age says even as the Election Commission reserved its order on the Samajwadi Party’s symbol “bicycle”, patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav said he was in no mood to cede control of the party.
Under the headline, "DU readies test bomb", Mail Today reports that the Delhi University is planning to scrap the cut-off list system and move to an objective type entrance test with 80 per cent weightage for admissions in undergraduate courses from the academic session 2017-18.
And finally, Flying water taxis powered by river currents could be tested on the Thames in London later this year. The electric boats, called SeaBubbles, use hydrofoils to lift them out the water, reducing the drag to allow them to reach speed of up to 25 knots and creating a comfortable ride likened to a “Magic Carpet“, reports the Times of India.
