The Pioneer leads with voters' priorities ahead of General Elections due in less than two weeks. Citing a survey conducted by the Association for Democratic Reforms, the paper writes "Job hogs voters' minds" as the key issue in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Chhattisgarh.
"Besides polls, weather too turns up heat on voters" headlines the Pioneer. Quoting the India Meteorological Department, the paper says that average maximum temperatures from April to June are likely to be warmer by half a degree celsius in Central and Northwest India.
The Times of India's top headline reads "Supreme Court clears path for pension to rise manifold for employees in all firms". The paper reports that employees of the private sector will now be able to avail their pension on their full salary. 'But PF corpus will be reduced as a result' adds the daily.
The Tribune reports that after a Pakistani drone and a group of four F-16 fighter jets were seen along the Indo-Pak border in Punjab, "IAF scrambled 2 Sukhois as Pak jets came too close".
