"Opposition out - BJP's Yeddyurappa" headlines the Hindustan Times adding "CM quits before floor test; Congress, regional parties cheer; Kumaraswamy swearing - in on Wednesday. The same paper quotes Rahul Gandhi in another headline, "Learn your lesson, show institutions respect." The Sunday Tribune writes, "BSY took floor, then door," while the Indian Express says "BJP loses vote of over confidence".
With Prince Harry marrying Meghan Markle, romantic pictures straight from the Royal couple's wedding also dominate the front pages of newspapers.
"Sealed with a kiss" headlines the Mail Today adding "Harry and Meghan wed at St. George's Chapel in Windsor in a modern, multicultural ceremony attended by the Clooneys, the Beckhams, Oprah and, of course Priyanka Chopra.
The same paper also carries an alarming story about Delhi's Asola wildlife sanctuary near Tughlaqabad which has been turned into a dumping ground for stray animals. "A Sanctuary gone astray," is its headline.
The oft neglected Rohingya refugees in the capital find space in The Sunday Times. "Rohingyas survive on little, but their hearts are full of hope this Ramzan" adding that though most families only have a water melon or an onion salad as the iftar meal, they believe that the month of Ramzan shows us how to be graceful, thankful and have the patience to find contentment in their circumstances.
The Sunday Times writes "India's first child without a father," Tavishi Perara may be India's first child "without a father" as her mother Mathumitha Ramesh had to wage a legal battle to ensure that her daughter's birth certificate didn't have the father's name.
