The havoc wreaked by the dust-storms across the country and the Cauvery-water -row are the two stories given prominent headline space by most newspapers this morning. The Hindustan Times carries the picture of a damaged hoarding saying, "Freak dust stroms kill 17" While The Times of India has headlined it as "Superstorms across India kill 129, shatter homes and lives".
On the Cauvery Water issue quoting centre's response The Hindustan Times writes, "Cauvery plan delayed as PM busy with K'taka polls" While DNA has the headline that reads as, "SC warns Karnataka to release Cauvery waters or face action".
On the National Film Awards issue The Pioneer's report says, "60 winners abstain from National Film Awards over presentation row".
Reporting on the SC/ST Act story The Asian Age writes, "SC rejects govt's plea to stay its SC/ST law ruling".
In business news The Times of India reports, "Flipkart co-founder likely to quit after Walmart takeover".
In yet another economic news The paper informs, "Delhi cops bust crypto coin minting unit in Dehradun" adding further, '100 Ethereum Rigs seized; Gang made over Rs 70L in 3 months'.
The Statesman carries a worrisome UNESCO report on the plight of journos world-wide saying, "530 journalists killed globally in 2012-2016".
 The Hindu reports on the developments on Aligarh Muslim University Campus as, "AMU students sit on dharna against 'police inaction". Further says,'CM Adityanath asks for report on campus violence'.
 And finally, here comes some good news for couples who've lost all hopes of a child. Well, in an interesting biological advance reported in the Times of India, the scientists have for the first time created embryo-like structures in the lab from stem cells, without recourse to eggs or sperm.
