Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivering a strong message to his critics on his first visit to his hometown Vadnagar as PM makes for front page news in most of the dailies this morning. "Digested poison to serve country" leads DNA adding "PM Modi invokes Lord Shiva on trip to hometown."The Asian Age quotes Modi as saying "I've faced venom since 2001." "Modi hits out at UPA for neglecting health. Inaugurates medical college in hometown Vadnagar" states The Hindu.
Referring to a website which alleged irregularities by a company owned by Amit Shah's son Jay Shah, The Times of India leads "Amit Shah's son to file 100 crore rupees defamation suit against website. Opposition alleges crony capitalism, demands probe."
Some of the papers carry reports and photographs of Indian Air Force's 85th Air Force Day at Hindon airbase in New Delhi on their front pages. The Asian Age quoting the IAF writes "Ready to fight war at short notice."
The Indian Express in its lead story says "RBI surveys show general economy in 'pessimistic zone', jobs big worry. Consumer confidence, growth and business sentiment have fallen, show surveys."
And finally, IAS man's 'accident' software draws PM praise. Well, the Asian Age reports that a young bureaucrat of the 2015 batch came up with an innovative concept that left the Prime Minister impressed. The officer had in collaboration with Google prepared a software that can instantly determine the location of a caller from an accident site.
