Our forces will give fitting reply: Amit Shah on Pakistan firing

TODAY'S NEWSPAPERS:- (3.1.2015)

The story of Coast Guard intercepting an intruder boat in the Arabian Sea has figured on the front pages of most newspapers this morning. "Alert Intel foils 26/11 rerun" reads a Mail Today headline. The Pioneer captions it as "‘Bomb-laden’ Pakistan boat intercepted" while the Indian Express headline reads, "BJP hails Indian Coast Guard for averting 26/11 like terror attack, says it reflects frustration of Pakistan".
Most newspapers have reported the rape of a teenage girl in Badaun, UP. Hindustan Times says a 21-year-old Japanese student was allegedly gang-raped at gunpoint for 12 days in Bodh Gaya. Street crimes in the city surged by 186% in 2014 with 12 cases reported every hour, up from four in 2013, says Hindustan Times. "Delhi witnesses steep rise in crime against women" reports the Indian Express.
Passing racist and derogatory remarks like ‘Chinki’ and ‘Chinese’ against citizens of North-East could soon land one in jail, writes the Pioneer. The Asian Age says any kind of gestures, words or acts of “discrimination” or “derogatory” remarks on the basis of race, culture or physical appearance can land you in prison for as long as five years, as the Centre is moving to add new sections to the Indian Penal Code to punish such actions.
Researchers from the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, U.S, say two-thirds of the world's cancer cases are a direct result of bad luck rather than faulty lifestyle or defective DNA, writes the Times of India.
And finally, have you ever woken up full of regret about the messages you sent the night before? A new smartphone app called Strings gives users complete control over their personal conversations, writes The Times of India.
