Indian Scientists to team up with Gates Foundation - General news: "Bill and Melinda Gates who are touring India promoting philanthropy with Warren Buffett are also trying to pull in Indian Scientists, technical and research institutes to partner with their foundation in developing cheaper drugs to eradicate infectious diseases. Gates addressing media said that they are focusing more on infectious diseases like TB, malaria and AIDS where there is almost no research funding coming out from the for-profit companies."
