Middle class and middle-aged are most likely to be drinking heavily at home | Mail Online: "Middle-class professionals are far more likely to drink heavily than those who earn less, says the NHS.

Many are consuming the equivalent of a bottle of wine on at least one night every week.

Almost 1 in 3 men and 1 in 6 women earning more than £35,000 a year drink almost every day, according to figures from the NHS Information Centre."
