In a major development Supreme Court directs all courts to refrain from "paternalistic and misogynistic attitudes" that are at times reflected in judicial orders. Hindustan Times headline says, "No place for misogyny in court: SC lays down law".
And finally, As Indian courts deliberate on the issue of same sex marriage, The Times of India writes, "This battle is not just about a religious ceremony, it's for civil and legal rights." while a counter piece says, "Marriage is not a private affair between two individuals. It is a social institution."
