US President Donald Trump's arrival today, on his historic visit to India is given top slot in all papers this morning. Amongst the important issues to be discussed would be a proposal to cover infrastructure and development projects across the country and other regions, called the 'Blue Dot Network' to counter China's Belt and Road Initiative, reports The Indian Express".
Hindustan Times reports that the Centre is working on a two- pronged strategy to aid the crisis-ridden Telecom Industry by rationalising taxes and levies for long term sustenance of the sector and an immediate bail-out package.
A Times of India headline reads " J&K to get a new Party". Splinter groups from the Congress, People's Democratic Party (PDP) and the National Conference (NC), have come together to launch a regional outfit that will comprise PDP founder Muzaffar Hussain Baig and several others.
And finally, The Indian Express reports that a mound in Sirsa could hold clues to the ancient 6th century BC city of Sarishika, which was famous and lay on the old route to Takshashila.
