ISRO's Chandrayaan -2 effort to touch down moon's south pole and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's photo consoling ISRO Chief K Sivan are covered prominently by all the news papers on their front pages.

The Hindustan Times says, "Chandrayaan lander's signal lost but ISRO's dream lives on" ; the Financial Express writes "As moon remains elusive, India hopes for new dawn".

ISRO's effort was also praised by world media including The New York Times and The Guardian, reports the Mail Today.

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval's wide ranging discussions with journalists on Jammu and Kashmir also get wide coverage. The Hindu says, "Majority of Kashmiris support decisions on Article 370". The Indian Express reports, "Easing curbs in J&K depends on Pakistan behaviour, says NSA".

Most papers report Pakistan denying use of its air space to President Ram Nath Kovind. The Indian express writes, Pak says Kovind con't use its airspace, MEA says unilateral action.

The Financial Express informs "lipstick shows full colour in India", as the lipstick index indicates popularity of cheap cosmetic instead of expensive clothes, and accessories.
