Reporting on the Unnao rape case, The Tribune writes "CBI searches 17 premises in UP, including Sengar's house". The Times of India quotes the expelled BJP MLA Sengar as saying "it's not easy to prove charges in court".

Highlighting the monsoon mayhem in Mumbai, The Statesman reports "Rains batter Maharashtra, 74 thousand hit in Andhra Pradesh floods".
