Regarding the Goods and Services Tax (GST), introduced during the NDA's first term, Business Standard reports that GST collection crossed one Trillion rupees for a third straight month in May, posting an over six per cent growth.
"US ends India's benefits under select trade list from June 5" is the lead story in The Indian Express. After a month of uncertainty, US President Trump terminated India's benefits which provided preferential, duty free access to six billion dollars worth of products exported to the US.
