Opposition Slams Modi Govt over Police Action on Farmers; Congress Says 'Badshah' Drunk with Power

The farewell organised by the Supreme Court Bar Association for outgoing Chief Justice of India Justice Dipak Misra is prominently noticed in the press. "Justice must have human face, says CJI Dipak Misra" reports the Hindustan Times. The Indian Express quotes CJI -designate Justice Ranjan Gogoi as saying "Divided along caste,gender, religion lines. The legal relief for activist Gautam Navlakha five weeks after he was arrested in connection with the Bhima Koregaon violence in Maharashtra is widely covered in the press.
