The political  developments in Bihar are the obvious spotlight this morning.
"Nitish minus Lalu plus Modi: Bihar CM will rule with BJP", is the Hindustan Times headline. Mail Today  calls him "Quitish Kumar; Resigns to take wind out of RJD" Asian Age says "Nitish pulls a fast one on allies", while the Pioneer observes "Mahagathbandhan dies to 'save' Tejasvi". Times of India calls it "Coming full circle: 4 years after JD(U) boss, Modi split, 'Bihari' and 'Bahari' are back as Bhai-Bhai."
In another significant political move, "Amit Shah to contest RS poll from Gujarat; Smirti will also be BJP Nominee for Upper House" reports the Times of India.
On the right to privacy debate, the Hindu quotes the Centre as saying "Privacy is a fundamental but wholly qualified right". The Pioneer cites the government : "Privacy must yield to right to life."
The Economic Times leads with "Indian stocks get their WHOLESALE RISE INDEX" as Nifty ends above 10,000 mark for the first time.
"GST impact : Cheaper to eat sweets at shop counter than seated at table" with rates varying from 5 percent to 18 percent, is a story in the Times of India. The Hindu notes, "Post-GST, Ragpickers encounter a steep fall in earnings as recyclers protect margins, pay less for plastic waste.
"2000 rupee notes to be scrapped?" Government declines to clear air" reports the Pioneer.
"Another colonial relic, the April-March financial year, to go in 2019" informs the Financial Express.
And finally', The Asian Age states, "New IPC section on racial violence likely" to tackle any criminal act in the name of religion, race or language, with the government receiving positive feedback from seven states and Union Territories.
