Anna is now part of School Syllabus

Most major dailies today feature reports on the Army Chief V K Singh. The Hindustan Times says " After Antony's white flag, Chief declares ceasefire" the Indian Express concurs stating " General takes a step back, alleges bid to create rift with minister", The Asian Age adds " CBI conducts raids, files Truckgate FIR"

The POSCO project hitting another hurdle has been highlighted by many news papers. "POSCO project hits pause again" reports the Hindustan Times, while the Asian Age notes "Green Tribunal halts POSCO, orders review" and adds that the National Green Tribunal has suspended the environmental clearance given last year.

The Asian Age reports with photographs, on the halting of Rajya Sabha polls as Rupees Two crore was seized from a car which belonged to the brother of an independent candidate.

The Tribune, the Hindu and the Pioneer have reported on their front pages on the jail term for Punjab Cabinet Minister Bibi Jagir Kaur. "Jagir kaur gets five year jail term for daughter's abduction, quits-acquitted of murder charge, but guilty of conspiracy in 12 years old case" reports the Tribune.

In a major revelation the Times of India, the Economic Times and the Mail Today have reported that the leading food manufactures are guilty of "large scale misbranding and misinformation" by claming that their food products contain zero trans fats even though tests show heavy doses of it.

The Asian Age reminds us that today the World Wild Life fund has asked people to switch off non essential lights of building, offices and houses to mark "Earth Hour" between 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

And finally, the Hindustan Times reports "Anna is now part of School Syllabus" and adds that several schools in the NCR have included a chapter on the anti graft activist in their general knowledge text book for classes seven and eight.
