Jagan ‘undervalues’ Rs 1,800 crore assets | Deccan Chronicle: "The Kadapa Lok Sabha candidate, Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, has quietly understated the value of his investments in Bharathi Cement in his affidavit to the Election Commission by at least Rs 1,800 crore by using accounting jargon. In his affidavit to the Election Commission while filing his nomination papers, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy showed the value of his holdings in Bharathi Cement Corporation Private Limited at Rs 36.07 crore, at the “book value” of Rs 15.15 per share. As per last available record, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy has 2,38,06,444 shares, or 30.06 per cent, of Bharathi Cement."
