February 28, 2011. That's the date my marriage officially ended. Years later, Ram Gopal Varma announced a film titled "Pelli," a story about three couples impacting a fourth's marital decisions.

This sparked an idea: my own "Pelli Charitra," a two-part film inspired by my divorce. Unlike RGV's film, my story will show how my marriage influenced three other couples' decisions about whether to marry.

Tragic, yes, but with moments of dark humor. A guaranteed treat for sadists. I'll produce this film myself – once I become a dollar millionaire.

Who's the villain? You ask. That's the beauty of it.

Yesterday, the day of my divorce judgment, I missed the Oscars and the Budget. Only a few friends knew. I am grateful to Palamuri Shivakumar for funding my website, Newunlimited.in.

The theme of the film is "To marry, or not to marry?" I take full responsibility for my failures.

A conversation with my daughter years ago:

Me: What do you want to be? 

Sphoorthy: A doctor. 

Me: OK 

Sphoorthy: What about you, Papa?
